Plug for my novelette, The Mesečnik Files

Ah, Ljubljana.

Some years ago I finished my personal magnum opus on the subject of Slovenia, where I lived for five years; it’s a comic noir novelette called The Mesecnik Files, set in turn-of-the-millennium Ljubljana, that I put up on a Wordpress site a few years ago with the help of a design pro. I’m not primarily a fiction writer, and there’s lots of Slovene slang and inside jokes that maybe not a lot of people would get, but I had fun with it and I think it communicates a certain voice of mine that’s authentic and unique. In the end, it’s a love letter to a specific time and place.
